MATR: Known Issues

Bugs

• Paver doesn't deselect your path when you change to another tool.
• Paver will extend route numbering along an illegal path even though pavement is properly truncated.

Limitations

• General
  • No undo function.
  • Can't save your work.
• Roads
  • Roads are all 2 lane undivided.
  • No bridges, turning lanes, or freeways.
  • No bridges over water.
  • Only one class of numbered highway (one marker type).
  • Highway names can only be positive integers (namely, no letters).
  • Can only overlap two routes at a time.
• Terrain
  • Ground is flat.
  • Cannot create rivers or lakes.
• Political/Social
  • Cannot create new towns.
  • You can't move town boundaries (but you can rename towns).
  • No buildings, trees, or other nonroad features.
• Map
  • Can't print map (need to screen capture and print from paint app)
  • Town names don't scale and can overprint other info (zoom to work around).
  • Map doesn't show street names.
• Signs
  • Cannot create custom road signs.
  • Signs don't show town destinations for routes.
