About 漢字爆発 ("Kanji Explosion") v. 1.2, updated January 14, 2020
Click on any kanji to show dictionary information; double-click to make that kanji the main one.
I built this tool to explore all components of kanji—not just radicals—and find relations to other kanji. For example, 塾 and 熟 have different radicals, but have 11 strokes in common: a third kanji (孰) with the same onyomi (ジュク) as the others.
A component could convey sound or meaning; or it could be a result of changes and simplifications over time. This tool tries to show relations without providing reasons that are misleading or wrong. For questions or comments, please tweet me at @TheRealKurumi.
